Nutritional Counselling

Body condition scoring, diet review & feeding advice built for your pet's species.

Most feeding problems don't look like problems

Gradual weight gain, the wrong hay ratio, a diet that’s “always worked”, feeding issues build slowly and quietly. A structured review catches what day-to-day feeding hides.

What Your Pet's Vaccination Plan Covers

Body Condition Scoring

A structured assessment of your pet's actual condition — more reliable than the number on the scale alone.

Diet Review

A proper look at what your pet currently eats — portions, products, and habits — and what it's adding up to.

Species-Specific Feeding Recommendations

Feeding guidance built for your pet's species — because what's right for a dog is wrong for a rabbit.

No — underweight pets, picky eaters, new exotic pets, and owners simply wanting to confirm they’re feeding right are all common reasons for a consult.

As needed, typically when weight changes, life stage shifts, or a new pet arrives. There’s no fixed schedule; we’ll advise what suits your pet.

Details of your pet’s current diet, product names, portions, treats, and feeding times. Photos of packaging help too.

Body condition scoring assesses shape and composition, not just kilograms, it’s a more reliable measure than the scale alone.

Very much so. Hay ratios for rabbits, feeding schedules for reptiles, and pellet balance for birds are all species-specific — generic pet advice doesn’t transfer.
