Medical & Surgical Services

From routine surgery to emergency treatment, handled here, not referred out.

What Happens When Treatment Waits?

!

Conditions requiring surgery or specialist medical management don't wait — delaying referral often means a simpler case becomes a complicated one.

!

Many clinics refer out complex or exotic cases entirely, leaving owners to find specialist care under pressure, often during an emergency.

!

Pain in animals is frequently under-recognised — untreated pain slows healing and can mask how serious a condition actually is.

  • Educated at premier veterinary institutions

ExoCare handles most soft tissue, avian, and reptile surgical cases in-house, including procedures many general clinics refer elsewhere. Complex cases outside our scope are discussed with you directly before any referral.

Anaesthesia protocols are built species-specific rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, with continuous monitoring throughout every procedure to manage the different risks exotic species can carry.

FIP treatment has changed significantly in recent years. Talk to our specialists directly about current treatment options and what’s appropriate for your cat’s specific case.

Pain management is built into every procedure before, during, and after using species-appropriate analgesia protocols, not just a standard dose applied across every patient.

During clinic hours, emergency cases are triaged and treated immediately based on urgency. Call ahead if possible so the team can prepare, but urgent walk-ins are accepted.
