ExoCare uses species-specific protocols, not a standard mammal dose so the anaesthetic plan is built around your pet’s physiology. Protocols are designed to reduce risk; no procedure is without it.
Continuous pulse oximetry and vitals are tracked throughout every anaesthetic procedure. A dedicated monitoring protocol means any change in status is detected and responded to in real time.
Your pet moves to a monitored recovery phase where anaesthetic recovery is observed, pain is scored, and discharge readiness is assessed before they go home.
Cardiac auscultation is part of the pre-anaesthetic screen — heart conditions are assessed before GA is administered. Anaesthetic protocols are then adjusted to the individual animal’s findings, not applied generically.
A pre-anaesthetic screen is performed first: CBC, biochemistry, clotting profile (PT/APTT), and cardiac auscultation to assess fitness for GA. If anything looks outside the safe range, the procedure is discussed with you before proceeding.
