General Consultation

A real clinical assessment when something feels off - not a guess.

"Something feels off" deserves a proper look

Vague symptoms are hard to explain and easy to second-guess at home. A structured consultation – assessment, diagnosis, and a clear plan – turns “not sure what's wrong” into an actual answer.

What a General Consultation Covers

Clinical Assessment

A thorough evaluation of your pet's current condition, history, and symptoms.

Diagnosis

Identifying what's actually causing the problem, using exam findings and diagnostics where needed.

Treatment Planning

A clear plan for what happens next, explained in plain language.

Bring any previous vet records, a list of current medications or supplements, and note when symptoms first appeared or changed. If your pet is on a specific diet, mention that too.

If examination findings suggest further investigation, we’ll discuss which diagnostics are appropriate and what they can tell us. You can find out more at our Diagnostics page.

Yes – a General Consultation is for a specific concern or symptom, not routine preventive screening. For a scheduled wellness review with no immediate concern, our Health Check-Up under Preventive & Wellness is the right starting point.

It depends on the case – some conditions can be addressed in the same visit, while others need test results or a follow-up plan first. We’ll tell you what’s possible at the consult itself.

If something feels off – your pet is eating less, moving differently, or you notice any change – book rather than wait. Symptoms that are vague but persistent or worsening are worth a proper look.
